KRAMER, DOROTHY L. "DOT" of Auburn Hills, passed away August 16, 2021 at 88 years of age. Loving wife of the late James for 26 years; dear mother of Sheryl Smith, Cynthia (Peter) Short, and Paul Smith; grandmother of Jacy and Lily Short; sister of the late William (Dolores) Thomas Jr., Carol (Michael) Reilly, Anne (Brian) Lewis, the late Judith (Melvin) Dixon, Mary (Jack) Hernandez, Theresa (Terry) Buchanan, David (Penny) Thomas, and Nancy (the late Vincent) Bonnacci. Dot was a woman before her time owning and operating local motels and lodges over the years. She owned Cascade Motor Lodge in Waterford and Motel M-97 in Frazer. In what little spare time she had, Dot enjoyed a good game of Dominos; wintering in Florida; 18 cruises; and most importantly time with her family
