of Waterford, passed away September 8, 2016, at the age of 86. She was born October 28, 1929, to Michael and Susanna Schlicht of Sebewaing, where she grew up in a large farming family and graduated from high school. She prayed she would marry a 'nice Lutheran boy.' God answered her prayers when she married Karl Otto Kuck in June of 1951. They were married for 65 years. Dorothy spent her lifetime reading and cultivating beauty all around her. Her yard was always ablaze with colorful perennials, and she often shared her bounty of flowers with family and friends. When she was no longer able to garden, her work with color shifted to beading bracelets that she donated to her church in support of its various missions. She was also known for her beautiful singing voice, which she used to glorify God at both Good Samaritan Lutheran Church and Grace Lutheran Church. Because of her, Dorothyrsquo;s daughters will always love God, Christmas music, birds, flowers, and laughter. Dorothy is survived by her beloved husband, Karl; four daughters ndash; Karen (David) Motzny, Kathie Orsquo;Neill (late Thomas), Kristine (David) McKenney, and Karol (Frank) Hartley; 11 grandchildren ndash; Michael, Matthew and Millicent Motzny, Erin (Danielle) Keesling, Megan (Theron) Keesling Brown, Melissa Orsquo;Neill Hall, Corey (fianceacute; Emily Warner) Orsquo;Neill and Philip Hartley; two step-grandchildren ndash; Karl and Sara Hartley; three great-grandchildren ndash; Searra Hall, Emmalyn and Arlen Keesling; two future step great-grandchildren ndash; Grace and Faith Warner; sisters-in-law, Johanna Fuerst, Donna Schlicht, Delores Schlicht, and Lorene Schlicht; brother-in-law, Donald Heiden; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by siblings/in-laws Martin Schlicht, Johnny Schlicht, Michael (Alice) Schlicht, Herman Schlicht, Mary (Vern) Draeger, and Helen Heiden, along with in-laws from the Kuck family: Albert (Hazel) Kuck, Ed (Rita) Kuck, Daniel Kuck, Sam Kuck, Alfred Kuck, Martha (Fritz) Milz, Albertina (John) Miller, Alma (Karl) Burow, Elmer Fuerst, and Emma (Robert) Kohl.
