KEENER, DOROTHY IRENE (nee Wiggins) of Lake Orion, went to be with the Lord October 6, 2020 at 88 years of age. Born January 16, 1932 in Pontiac, Michigan. She was a 1950 graduate of Pontiac High School. Dorothy was a volunteer for 16 years at Oakland County Medical Facility and a faithful servant of the Lord as a life time member of Joslyn Avenue Presbyterian Church. Dorothy loved gardening, angels, snowmen, and Detroit Pistons basketball. She was a beloved wife, mother, nana, and friend. Her church, family, and friends (including the six pack) were everything to her and she maintained a loving and welcoming home for her family. Preceded in death by her parents Warren and Martha Wiggins and her brother Warren Wiggins, Jr. Dear wife of her high school sweetheart and husband of 67 years Donald Keener, Sr; mother of Donald (Christine) Keener Jr., and Deborah (Al) Powell; grandmother of Jordan (Christian) Hankins, Alex (fiancé Theresa) Keener, Timothy (Marissa) DePlaunty, Justin (Kimberly) DePlaunty, and Kevin Olli; great grandmother of 3.
