Sister of Ralph (Margaret), Jack (Myrtle), Harold (Jewel) White, Margaret Barron (Jack) and !--?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /--st1:personname w:st="on"Barb/st1:personnameara Malvich (Lloyd). st1:place w:st="on"Doris/st1:place married James R. Hodges in 1948. Following Jim's death in 1968, she married Rev. Robt. D. Winne in 1983. st1:place w:st="on"Doris/st1:place will be remembered for hergifted voice which she used to the glory of God. She began her singing career at the age of 10 at the Pontiac Rescue Mission founded by her parents, Harry E. and Mabel White. Doris later became a soloist, counselor, andinspiring speakerwith Canadian Revival Fellowship, touring throughout st1:country-region w:st="on"Canada/st1:country-region, the st1:country-region w:st="on"U.S.st1:country-region, and st1:place w:st="on"Europe/st1:place. Numerous people have developed a committed relationship with Jesus Christ as a result of her testimonyand ministry. Doris is survived by Bob Winne; her children, Susan Hodges Glynn (Chris) and James R. Hodges, II; grandchildren NathanaelC. Glynn (Stephanie), Caitlin Maye Hodges, Seth D.Hodges, and Stephanie A. Glynn; step-children Shirley Winne Pye (Leonard), Doug Winne (Ruth); Marilou Baxter (Wayne); 12 step-grandchildren; siblings Harold, Margaret, and st1:personname w:st="on"Barb/st1:personnameara; and sister-in-law June Hodges Carlson (Dick).
