of Waterford, passed away December 16, 2017 at 82 years of age. Loving husband of Patricia for 60 years; beloved father of Donald (Denise) Youmans, Jennifer (Boe) Embrey, Susan (Chris) Beach, and William Youmans; grandfather of Melissa (Eric), Elizabeth, Blaire, and Madison; great grandfather of Madalyn, Sam, Everett, and Patrick; brother of Gerald Youmans; preceded in death by siblings, Joanne Brandt, Joyce Thrower, and Richard Youmans. Don was Director of Operations for the Waterford School District, retiring in 1997 after 36 years of service. A devoted Tigers fan, his passion for baseball secured him a place in the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame for his performance in baseball at Flint Northern H.S. He received his masters degree in education from U of M ndash;Flint and his blood runs for maze and blue football. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and friend; above all, an exceptional and loving husband.
