Loving husband of Shirley 'Jean' for 63 years; dear father of Don (Susan) Widener and Melinda Gillogy; grandfather of Nathaniel, Brianna, and Jason; great grandfather of 4; brother of Eleanor (Edd) Looney; preceded in death by siblings Shirley (Wallace) Crump, Charles (Nell) Widener, Jr., Jeannene (Jim) Schmidt, and William Widener. Don was a veteran US Air Force Korea. He retired from Pontiac Motor in 1986 after 30 years of service. Don enjoyed woodworking, fishing, gardening, camping, and helping a neighbor.
