On Tuesday, December 26, 2023, Donald (Don) P. TeBeau, at the age of 91, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving wife, Margaret Mary (Dolly) TeBeau (Tierney), and children. Don and Dolly were married for 67 years, residing primarily in the downriver area of Detroit as well as 26 years in Estero, FL.  During the early years, while residing in Lincoln Park, they were blessed with five children:  Terrie Alfafara (Mariano); Michele Esson (Scott); Kathleen TeBeau; Donald P. TeBeau, II; and Suzanne M. TeBeau Rohde (Brian), and over the years welcomed nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Don was born in River Rouge, MI on March 6, 1932, to Anna (Pommaville) and Camilius (Tim) TeBeau.  He grew up in Lincoln Park with sister Carole Poisson (TeBeau) and younger brother Ken, who both predeceased him.  He graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic High School in 1950, and after serving in the U.S. Army and marrying Dolly in 1956, attended the Detroit Institute of Technology, graduating in 1964.  Don spent his professional career with Detroit Edison (now DTE Energy) advancing the use of computer technology at the company for more than 39 years, retiring in 1991. Don was an avid athlete and fierce competitor who loved nothing better than playing games with his kids and spending time with his wife and family.  He was a devoted husband, dedicated father, and member of the Catholic Church, with his faith sustaining him to the end.  He will be missed dearly by his family and friends. At the request of the family, a private funeral service will be held at Lourdes Senior Community in Waterford, MI.  In lieu of flowers, donations and memorials may be made in Don's name to Dominican Sisters of Peace or Trinity Health at Home - Southeast Michigan.
