KITCHIN, DONALD THOMAS, age 94, of Waterford, passed away August 15, 2023. He was born on January 7, 1929, in Cass City, Michigan, son of the late Manly and Hazel Kitchin (nee Stitt). Loving husband of the late Anna Pauline Kitchin, dear companion of the late Donna Dorland. Dear father of Carol (Steve) Toth, Larry (Late Dianna) Thompson, Bradley (Beth) Kitchin, Linda (Steve) Theis and Brian (Kelly) Kitchin. Proud grandfather of Ryan (Jessica) Thompson, Joshua (Becky) Thompson, Bradley Smola, Chelsea Kitchin, and the late Donna Butler. Great Grandfather of 5. The family would like to thank Donna Dorland's family for their love and support during Don's illness. Donald retired from General Motors after many years. He enjoyed hunting, and spending time at his cabin in the Upper Peninsula. But he cherished time with his family and friends most of all. Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, 12:00 Noon at Coats Funeral Home – Waterford. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment Ottawa Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation in Don's name to the St. Jude Tribute Program.
