HARDY, DONALD ORISON, age 86, of Waterford, passed away April 26, 2024. He was born on February 26, 1938, in Pontiac, Michigan, son of the late Warner and Leone Hardy (nee Spurling). Loving husband of Sue for 62 years; dear father of Michael (Melissa) Hardy and Daniel Hardy; proud grandfather of Evan (Nora) Hardy, Ethan Hardy, and Ian (Lizzie) Hardy; great grandfather of Michaela Sue. He is predeceased by his sister Gail.  Donald had a 40-year career as a pharmacist. In his spare time, he enjoyed time at his cottage in Caseville. Donald was also very active volunteering with the developmentally disabled in southeast Michigan and with Drayton Plains Nature Center. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2023, 11:00 AM at Coats Funeral Home-Waterford. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Interment Colfax Cemetery in Bad Axe, Michigan. Memorial donations in Donald's name may be made to: JARC or to the Drayton Plains Nature Center.
