of Waterford, formerly of West 'by God' Virginia, passed away peacefully September 20, 2017 at 81 years of age. Loving husband of Marilyn for 60 years; dear father of Cindy (Randy) Reed, Greg Carn, and Ronald Carn; grandfather of Katie (Todd), Kristopher (Lauren), Kevin, Kellie, Lauren (Derek), Timothy (Jessica), Steven, Alyssa (Trammell), and Joey; great grandfather of Nora, Evan, Graham, Emily, Lila, Rylee, and Camryn; Preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Ella Carn, and siblings, Mildred Mathers and Wesley Carn. Also survived by sister in law Laura Carn. Don retired from GM Truck amp; Coach in 1987 after 32 years of service. He was a very active member in his community. He was a lifetime member of J.C.I. Senators; president and board member of C.A.I. Inc. of Waterford; Waterford Economic Development Committee since 1971; church council member for Mt. Hope Lutheran, now known as Good Samaritan Lutheran Church; and Civil Service member.
