SMITH, DIANNA LEE, age 81 of Waterford, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022. She was born on February 18, 1941 in Saline, Michigan to parents Lee Henry and Betty Jean Shaw (nee Reahard). Dianna graduated from Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor in 1959. She met the love of her life Larry in middle school through her brother Butch, and they dated from High School until they were married in 1960. She worked and retired as a medical receptionist after 12 years. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, shopping, the outdoors, gambling at the casinos all over Michigan but her most favorite was Little River in Manistee, and to travel with her sister Beverly. Dianna will be missed by her family, friends, and community. Dianna is survived by her husband: Larry Dean Smith; children: Deborah (Vaughn) Lindstrom and Lisa (Howard) Humble; grandchildren: Jacqueline Marie Lindstrom, James Dean Lindstrom, Landon Lee Humble, and Wyatt William Humble; siblings: Beverly (James) Agar and Judy (Robert) Clouse. She was preceded in death by both parents and brother Butch Shaw.
