ELWELL, DIANE NORMA, age 83, of Clarkston, passed away June 8, 2024. She was born on September 25, 1940, in Bagley, Minnesota, daughter of the late Norman and Wilma Nelson (nee Norby). Loving wife of George for 63 wonderful years; dear mother of Dawn (Bruce) Hurren, Cindy (John) LaRocque, and Jeffrey (Edith) Elwell; proud grandmother of Alexandria, Jamie, Bret, Angeli and Aaron; sister of Eileen (Bill) VanderVlucht, Edith (Mike) Coldwell, Pam (Don) Paganini, and Alan Nelson, also survived by many loving extended family members. Diane was the vice president of Silent Call Communications that she owned and operated with her husband George for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping and decorating. A Celebration of Diane's life will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 12-3pm at Coats Funeral Home - Waterford. Memorial donations in Diane's name may be made to the River Church of Waterford.
