WEISS, DEREK THOMAS, of Clarkston, Michigan passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at the age of 39. Derek was born on April 13, 1982, in Norwalk, Connecticut to parents Thomas and Diane (nee Paradis) Weiss. Adored husband of Melissa (nee Eiben); proud father of Wyatt, Lucas, and another son soon to be born; brother of Abbey (Ian) Cameron and Jared Weiss; uncle of Quentin; and beloved by the Cameron family (Michael, Marcia, Brian, Stella, Ethan, and Bella). Stepson of Tim Kwolek. Son-in-law of Earl and Dawn Eiben. Brother-in-law of Matthew (Jeena) Eiben and uncle of Clara and Evelyn. Brother-in-law of Sean (Kristen) and uncle of Emma and Abbi. Derek was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Weiss. Derek lived a life in constant motion, taking care of everyone around him and lighting up every room. Derek was a business owner, skilled woodworker, avid golfer, lover of music, and dedicated friend. He will be remembered by all as being larger than life. Memorial services have not been scheduled at this time.
