Meyer, Denis John, 68, of Waterford, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. He was born on September 9, 1953 in Pontiac to parents Carl and Margaret.

Denis was a past Master Counselor of Royal Oak Demolay where he met his wife of 44 years, Kathy. In his spare time, Denis enjoyed hunting, fishing, and wood carving. More than anything, Denis loved his family with all of his heart. He was a true family man. Denis is survived by his loving wife Kathy; children: Jillian Stoddard and Alison Meyer; grandchildren: Alexis Gilboe, Kaitlin Stoddard, Hailey Gilboe, Riley Stoddard, and Jackson Meyer; siblings: Tom (Liz) Meyer, Sue Meyer, Lori Meyer, Donna (Mike) VanTassell, and Bill (Yvonne) Meyer; Denis is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Denis is preceded in death by his parents Carl and Margaret, and his daughter Diane (the late Matt) Gilboe. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 26, at 1 p.m. at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Pastor Rich Nowik to officiate. The visitation will take place on Wednesday beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment at Lakeview Cemetery.
