YINGLING, DAWN E. (née Abney) of Clarkston, passed away surrounded by her loving family March 19, 2024 at 62 years of age. Loving wife of Michael for 41 years; beloved mother of Zac and wife Lindsay Yingling; grandmother of Haven; cherished and only daughter of Nancy (née Lewis) and the late James Abney. Dawn was a 1979 graduate of Waterford Mott High School. She was self-employed for over 25 years with her mother Nancy cleaning residential and commercial businesses throughout Waterford and Clarkston. She was a true "sun goddess" who enjoyed gardening; concerts; camping; tubing; and her cat Simon. She was the life of the party with an infectious laugh and a heart of gold. A caregiver by nature she would do anything for anyone and her home was always open for anyone that needed a roof over their head and her granddaughter Haven was the apple of her eye. Her beaming smile, gift of gab, and the love she had for her family and friends will be forever missed for she could never be replaced. Family will have a celebration of life on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 3 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-CLARKSTON, (8909 Dixie Hwy). Family will receive friends Saturday 1 PM until time of celebration.
