YOUNG, DAVID L. of Waterford, formerly of Gladwin, passed away June 17, 2020 at 89 years of age. Loving husband of the late Mary Ann; dear father of Linda Young, Randal (Darla) Young, Sandy Reyes, David M. Young, and Timothy (Lisa) Young; grandfather of 8; great grandfather of 5; brother of the late Harold Young; and survived by 1 nephew. Dave retired from Pontiac Motors after 26 years of service. Growing up on a farm, he learned to do and fix everything. He enjoyed fishing; snowmobiling; pool; watching football; gardening; listening to polka music while woodworking, which included but not limited to, cabinets and plaques. A machine repairman by trade, he was always making or building things. He was not afraid of a computer and loved ordering any type of gadget from Amazon. His puttering and tinkering around his shed will be dearly missed. Graveside service will be Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 11 AM at Christian Memorial Cemetery, Rochester Hills.
