of Waterford, passed away on December 16, 2016 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of the late Charlotte; dear father of Vangela Flowers, Keila (Ray) Fischer, Yorba (John) Newby, Jeanette (William) Newby, and David Cook, Jr. ; adored grandfather and great grandfather to many; brother to 12 siblings; uncle to many nieces and nephews; and a friend to thousands. David was preceeded in death by his youngest son, Daniel, and his parents, Oliver Cook and Dorothy Batrow. David proudly served his country in the Army and retired from GM as an electrical engineer. He loved people, making friends across the entire world.
