BALDWIN, DAVID B., of Pontiac, passed away unexpectedly on August 20, 2026, at 58 years of age.

David was the dear brother of Richard Baldwin and Ruth (Kevin) Farnsworth. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrea (née Anderson) and Richard L. Baldwin. He leaves behind nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who will miss his lively personality and generous spirit.

David attended Pontiac Northern High School and worked for several years at Accurate Gauge Manufacturing in Rochester Hills. He was a proud member of the Pontiac-Waterford Elks Lodge #810, where he served as a former Exalted Ruler. The lodge was an important part of David's life, providing him with friendships, fellowship, and many opportunities to be involved in his community.

Outgoing, friendly, and truly a social butterfly, David had a remarkable ability to make friends wherever he went. He enjoyed surrounding himself with people and had a diverse collection of friends from all walks of life. Put David in a room with good company and he was likely to "hold court," entertaining everyone with stories, conversation, and his unmistakable personality.

David enjoyed many of life's pastimes, including bowling, hunting, fishing, playing pool, and visiting the casinos. Whether he was enjoying the outdoors, competing in a game, trying his luck, or simply spending time with friends, David knew how to have a good time.

He will be remembered for his outgoing nature, his love of friendship and fellowship, and his ability to bring people together. David's passing leaves a void for his family, friends, and the many people who were fortunate enough to know him. His stories, laughter, and larger-than-life personality will not soon be forgotten.
