BALDWIN, DARWIN E., of Clarkston, passed away, Tuesday, October 8, 2019, with his family by his side, at 77 years of age. Born June 5, 1942 in Pontiac, Michigan the son to the late Paul and Doris Baldwin. He was the beloved husband of Nancy for 60 years; loving father of Tami (David) Parafian; proud grandfather of Danielle Parafian; dearest brother of Judy (the late Jon) Holzbaugh; dear brother in law of Ruth Ann (Phil) Stevens. He is also survived by his nieces Julie (Darrell), Robyn, Debbi (Gary), Cyndi (Daryl), nephews Jon and Eric and his many, many friends that loved him and will miss him. Darwin retired from General Motors with over 35 years of service. He worked most of his career at the Drayton Plains Plant where he was Supervisor of Maintenance. He loved his sports, whether it be as a champion diver in high school, or as a bowler who bowled two 300 games, and one at 299. He was an amazing golfer belonging to numerous leagues. He was also a wonderful gardener, growing all sort of delicious vegetables that people would go out of their way to stop at his vegetable stand. Darwin was also an accomplished builder, building houses for his family and the pavilion by the Davisburg library and township offices. Pastor Martin Woody officiating.
