UHAN, DARRELL THOMAS, of Clarkston, Michigan, passed away December 24, 2020 at 74 years of age. Darrell was born on June18, 1946 in Pontiac, Michigan, to parents Clarence Harold Uhan and Mary Ruth Whitlock (nee Hudson); cherished brother of David (Susan) Uhan, Paulette (Ken) Bourns, Gary (Debbie) Whitlock and preceded in death by sister Claudia Patton; proud uncle to many wonderful nieces and nephews. A 1964 graduate of Avondale High School, Darrell enjoyed his childhood and teen years growing up in "the Heights" (Auburn Heights) with so many close friends. His greatest passion was owning and operating Uhan's Department store for the past 38 years. In his free time Darrell enjoyed sports, cooking, riding his Harley, fishing for walleye and bluegill at Houghton Lake, and hunting. An animal lover, after his beloved dog Lady passed away, Darrell welcomed a new rescue named Peaches into the home he shared with two cats. Darrell's wild and untamed spirit will be deeply missed by his family, friends and community. His family has planned a private burial, with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
