HOPKINS, DANIEL H. II of Clarkston, passed away May 14, 2020 at 55 years of age. Loving husband of Lisa (nee Peugh) for 33 wonderful years; dear father of Charlene and Danielle; dear son of Daniel H. and Nola (nee Hamburg) Hopkins; brother of Bruce Hopkins and Deborah Snelling (nee Hopkins). Dan was a 1982 graduate of Clarkston Senior High School. He was a hard working truck driver for YRC Freight for 28 years. A man of ingenuity and tenacity, he was a "MacGyver" before one even existed, give him a coat hanger and duct tape and he could fix anything....on the side of the road in the rain. A dedicated husband and father, he enjoyed fishing, bowling, hunting, and other outdoor activities. A trustworthy and wholehearted person, he supported everyone in any way he could. He will be dearly missed by all those whose hearts he touched, family, friends, co-workers, and strangers alike.
