BARLOW, DANIEL L. of Clarkston, passed away unexpectedly October 25, 2019 at 72 years of age. Loving husband of Sandra for 28 years; dear father of Michelle Schilling, Matt (Anya) Barlow, Laura Barlow, Rebecca (Mark) Sigmon, Flora Brackelman, and Daniel Jr. (Debhora) Barlow; grandfather of 6; great grandfather of 1; brother of Ralph (Sharon) Barlow, Ruth Smith, Edna (Gary) Germain, Tim Nurenberg, and Vickie Nurenberg; son in law of Pat and Nancy Nurenberg. Preceded in death by: his 2 children, Michael and Venice, his parents, Arthur and Marie Barlow, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, 1 brother in law, and 1 grandchild. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dan was a veteran of the US Army and retired from GM in 2009 after 41 years of service. He was friend of Bill W. for 40 years and served as a mentor in AA and GM's Crossroads program for substance abuse. His faith, his family, and friends meant the world to him and his generous and loving presence will be dearly missed.
