DELANEY, CONSTANCE J. "CONNIE" of Waterford, passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters on December 3, 2022 at 64 years of age. Cherished daughter of Shirley (née Kitzinger) and the late Donald Delaney; dearest mother of Christine (Cody) Hawkins and Michelle (Kevin) Lyons; grandmother of Caleb, Mason, Ryan, and Madison; sister of Kathy (Rick) Borock, Karen Hoemke, Doug Delaney, Dan (Robin) Delaney, and Carolyn (Jack) Gallagher; also survived by the father of her daughters, Robert (Coleen) Wilson. Connie was a 1976 graduate of Rochester Adams High School and earned her associate's degree from Oakland Community College. She was a pharmacy technician for McLaren Hospital (formerly Pontiac Osteopathic) for 30 years. She was an avid and talented crocheter and would crotchet intricate designs and themes. Loving and caring mother and grandmother she would drop whatever she was doing to help or lend a hand expecting nothing in return. She will be known and remembered for easily saying, "On my way". Connie will be dearly missed forever by all who knew and loved her. A memorial service will be held Friday, December 9, 2022 at 10 AM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Family will receive friends Thursday 4-8 PM. Interment will be at Holy Sepluchre Cemetery, Southfield.
