TAYLOR, COMER WASHINGTON, "Bob", age 93, of Waterford, passed away October 14, 2021. He was born on May 26, 1928, in Boone, North Carolina, son to the late Darth and Lizzie Taylor (nee Cook). Loving husband of the late Barbara for 57 wonderful years; loving father of Brenda (Ron) Ressler, the late Greg Taylor, the late Jeff Taylor and the late Bobby Taylor; proud grandfather of Kelley (Jason) Banks, Ryan (Bridgett) Fitzgerald, Jason (Ashley) Taylor and Jessica (Nick) Ferraro; great grandfather of Ryleigh, Scarlett, Skylynn and Emerly, also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Bob worked for General Motors for 30 years and retired in 1991. In his spare time he enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting, traveling, bowling, gambling and eating sea food. Burial services will be held Thursday, November 4, 2021, 9:30 AM at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly with a memorial service to follow on Thursday at 11 AM at Grace Chapel Church, 2515 N. Williams Lake Road, Waterford. Memorial donations in Bob's name may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Kindly keep Bob and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
