SWORD, COLUMBIA JOSEPHINE, age 89, of Waterford, passed away on July 16, 2021. Columbia was born on September 25, 1931 in West Virginia. Loving mother of Peggy (the late Tom) Hopper, Larry (Karen) Sword, Sue (Doug) Schilling, Randy (Judy) Sword, and William Sword. She was a proud grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of 6.She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Vernon; her parents, Dallas Adkins and Goldia Adkins; and her sister, Thelma Meadows. Columbia will be remembered as a great cook as she would always made food for her family and whenever she had visitors. Columbia also enjoyed gardening and canning in her free time. As her wishes, burial will take place at Ottawa Park Cemetery. Columbia was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
