LAUGHLIN, CLAUDIA E. of Waterford, passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters and grandchildren on  February 11, 2022 at 78 years of age. Loving wife and sweetheart of the late Dick; cherished mother of Michael Laughlin, Michelle (Kirk) Boal, Melissa (the late Robert) Flury; grandmother of Amber (Jamie), Troy, Derek, Courtnee (fiancée Steven), Breanna (Joseph), Taylor (Ben), Justun, Elyshia, Travis, and Kelli; great grandmother of Brycen, Maicen, Stella, Mila, Jaxcen, Vida, MaKale, and Ava; sister of Carol Carr, Donna (Gary) Stieber, Ronald (Patricia) Liles, David (Rita) Liles, Mary (Gilbert) Schreiner, Steve (Brooke) Liles, Gary Liles, and the late Jeffrey Liles; aunt to many nieces and nephews. Claudia was a hardworking loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. Over the years she worked for Michigan Bell Credit Union; Sheet Metal Credit Union; and finally the Comfort Inn/Best Western in Waterford where her grandchildren would lovingly name her the "pool nazi". In her spare time she thoroughly enjoyed trips to the casinos; bingo; and scratch off lottery tickets. She was proud of her membership and active participation at the VFW Heart of the Lakes. Claudia will be remembered for her kind and loving heart that cared for everyone. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Funeral service will be Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 11 AM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Family will receive friends Tuesday 4-8 PM.
