BROWN, CLARENCE JOSEPH JR. "SHORTY", of Clarkston, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at the age of 74 years old. Shorty was born on March 29, 1948, in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Clarence Joseph Brown Sr. and Kathleen Marie Farmiloe. Loving husband for over 52 years to Edith, Proud father of Carol Schwerin, Linda Ezell, Clarence Brown III, and Faith Brown; Cherished grandfather of Bruce, Karissa, Emily, Logan, Michael, Austin, Karter, Kelton, John, Crystal, Jacob, and Larry; Beloved great-grandfather of Jayden, Madelynn, Emilio, Alonzo, and the late Karson; Brother of the late Joe Brown, the late Gary Brown, and Gloria Daily. In his spare time, Shorty loved to go deer hunting in the U.P., watch crime shows and scary movies, and spend time with his dog, Snoopy. Shorty will also be remembered for his love of his beer, which he famously referred to as his "Soda". Shorty was loved by many and will be missed deeply. A funeral service will be held at Coats Funeral Home – Waterford (3141 Sashabaw Rd., Waterford, Michigan 48329) on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 3:00PM. The Brown family will accept visitors beginning from 12:00PM until the time of service.
