McManus, Clara Jeanne of Waterford, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 9, 2022. She was born in Detroit on October 11,1930, attended St Frederick High School (Class of 1948) and went on to receive her nursing degree from Detroit Mercy College. She wed her late husband Robert J. McManus in 1952 and is survived by their four children, Joann McManus-Trim, Marta Tillman, Robert McManus, and Mary McManus-Simonetti; Grandmother of Anna (Trim) Ottaway, Clint McManus, Michael Tillman, Nick Simonetti and Jack Simonetti; Great-grandmother of Mason, Charlie, Madeline and Ava. Jeanne will be remembered for her kind heart and giving spirit that touched so many. She enjoyed spending her Summers at her cottage on Harsen's Island, boating, cheering for MSU and embracing her Irish heritage. She had an eye for design and a special way of putting her creative touch on everything she did. Her true gift was her ability to bring people together. She loved to entertain and spend time with her friends and family. Jeanne was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Private burial will be held at Pine Lake Cemetery, West Bloomfield. Family welcomes you to join them in celebrating Jeanne's life at a memorial luncheon on Tuesday, December 13th at Fork n' Pint in Waterford from 4 to 8pm.
