PFISTER, CLARA MADINE, age 87, of Las Vegas, formerly of Clarkston, passed away at her home on Friday, May 20, 2022. She was born on August 19, 1934 in Letcher County, Kentucky to parents Dennis and Gertrude (Collins) Hall. Clara was raised Baptist and remained strong in her faith throughout her life. She loved telling stories of growing up in Eastern Kentucky during those early years. Her real passion was her family and friends. Crafts were another joy for Clara, with her constantly knitting, especially washcloths or "scrubbies", general sewing, quilting, and crocheting. She was a vegetarian who occasionally enjoyed a good cheeseburger. Clara was also a huge Elvis fan as well. Clara is survived by her son, Charles (Barbara) Pfister; granddaughters: Amy (Stephen) Monrreal and Jessica (Jordan Lewis) Pfister; great grandchildren: Emily and Jacob. She was preceded in death by husband, Charles "Chuck" Duane Pfister; seven siblings: James Hall, Jay B. Hall, Louise Boleyn, Jack Hall, Dennis "Bob" Hall, Kathleen Hofmann, Jeanette Adams, and their families. A funeral service will take place at 11am on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at COATS FUNERAL HOME – WATERFORD. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 4-9pm. Interment at Ottawa Park Cemetery. Those desiring may make a memorial contribution to the American Lung Association in honor of Clara.
