CORKER-HOLLAND, CHRISTINE CAROL, 69, of Westland, MI, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2024 in Pontiac, MI. Christine was born in Detroit to Wilfred and Ethel Corker on December 8, 1954. She attended Frank Cody High School in Detroit where she graduated in January 1973. She married Max Holland III on January 13, 2013 in Detroit. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and fishing in her free time. Christine is preceded in death by her husband Max Holland III, parents Wilfred and Ethel Corker, and brothers, Richard (Lucy) Merkle and Allen Merkle. Christine is survived by brothers Kenneth (Rita) Merkle, Gary Corker, and Glen (Alice) Corker as well as 5 nieces Tracy (Kevin) Mackey, Patti (Randall) Birk, Jenni (Sean) Steel, Stephanie Corker, and Erin (Lloyd) Lucky and several great nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 11 AM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Burial will be Saturday 12:30 PM at Glen Eden Memorial Park, 35667 Eight Mile Road, Livonia. Meet inside the gates. Visitation Friday, October 11 from 4-8 PM where friends, family, and those whose lives Christine touched can gather to reminisce and grieve. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society and the National Kidney Foundation in Christine's honor.
