USN Retired,of White Lake, died May 2, 2016 at the age of 64. Born on January 17, 1952 in Pontiac, Michigan the son of Mary and the late John Starr. Beloved husband of Debbie (nee.. Rappuhn) for 45 years; loving father of Karri Starr and John (Diane) Starr III; dearest grandfather of Hala, Tom, Alisha, Kyle, Allison, Stefani and Will IV; great grandfather of Lucas, Ella and Kaiden. Also survived by 2 brothers, 1 sister and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. John worked for many years at and for General Motors. In addition to his military service, he was a member of the American Legion and a life member of the NRA. He enjoyed his rescued dogs, camping, bowling and riding his motor cycle.
