MILLER, CHERYL M. of Pontiac, formerly of Houghton Lake, passed away surrounded by her family on December 29, 2022 at 62 years of age. Loving wife of Wayne Miller for 44 years; cherished mother of Angela Miller and Allen (Julia) Miller; grandmother of Zachary, Jacob, Chloe, Aspen, and Silas; preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick and Barbara (née Geiger) Zielke, siblings Michael Zielke (Zelma) and Patricia Shudark (the late Richard). Born in Pontiac, Michigan, Cheryl attended high school in Houghton Lake where she met and married her husband Wayne. She was loving and nurturing person who easily became "mom" to everyone. A very creative person, Cheryl could turn the simplest item into a beautiful piece of art, sometimes having to "sleep on it" and let the vision come to her mind. Cheryl was a wonderful cook and a true die hard Lions fan with a "shrine" devoted to the team and favorite players. She will be dearly and always missed by all who loved her.
