GROVER, CHERYL LEIGH, age 55 of Pontiac, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 21, 2021. She was born on January 7, 1966 in Royal Oak to parents Ronald and Reva (Kleino) Grover. Cheryl graduated from George Dondero High School in 1984. She also completed her Cosmetology certificate at SEOVEC in Royal Oak, Michigan in 1985. Later she attended Macomb Community College receiving a double Associate Degree in General Studies and Business Administration in 2009. Cheryl worked at various hair salons throughout her career most notably at JC Penny's Salon as a Senior Designer where she was affectionately known as C-Leigh. Cheryl had a great passion for helping others in need and worked for Michigan's AmeriCorps supporting homeless individuals in Oakland and Macomb Counties. Her interests include baking, karaoke, singing country and gospel music. She was a woman of faith and a member of St. Paul Community Lutheran Church in Pontiac, Michigan. Cheryl is survived by her dear mother, Reva Grover; cherished daughters: Leisa (Fouad) Zammar, Nina LePage, Sandra Matthews, Katrina (Matthew) Schill; beloved grandchildren: Fadi and Aleyah Zammar; loving siblings: Carol (Brad) Major, Lorie (Rusty) Carver, Michael (Minyi) Grover and Rodric (Bonnie) Grover. She was preceded in death by her father Ronald Grover and her brother James Grover. A private family service will be held and a graveside service will be held at Ottawa Park Cemetery in Clarkston.
