BAILEY, CHARLOTTE MAE, age 86, of Clarkston, passed away May 8, 2024. She was born on September 1, 1937, in Rochester, Michigan, daughter to the late Joel and Jewel Simmons (nee Evans). Loving wife of the late Sammy Lee Bailey; dear mother of Curtis Bailey, Rhonda McGowen, Debbi (John) Dew, and Stephanie Bailey; proud grandmother of Laura, Spring, Gina, Lyndsey, Lindon, Samantha, Kegan, Blaize, Jeremy, and the late Rocky; great grandmother of 15; loving sister of Jo Alice King, Katherine Gee, Adeline Huston, Joan Vawter, Mike Simmons, and Billy Simmons. She is proceeded in death by her siblings; Lahona Frye, Nancy Miler and Dale Simmons. Charlotte enjoyed shopping and playing bingo. She was a wonderful cook who enjoyed entertaining family and friends. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, 11:00 AM at Coats Funeral Home- Clarkston, 8909 Dixie Highway. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Memorial donations in Charlotte's name may be made to a charity of the donors choosing.
