of Davisburg formerly of Pontiac, went home to be with the Lord May 27, 2018 at 86 years of age. Born April 19, 1932 in Big Rapids, Michigan the son to the late William and Susanna Schort. Beloved husband of Alice for 43 years; loving father of Roxanne Schort, Kevin (Mamie) Schort, William (Cindy) Schort, Filip (Angie) Schort, Ann (Danny) Mobbs, Michael Moorhead, Matthew Moorhead and the late Charles Schort Jr.; dear brother of John, Grace (the late Jack) and Bernice; also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Charles was a proud veteran of the U S Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He retired from General Motors after 30 faithful years of service. While working he attended Midwestern Bible College where he received his Masterrsquo;s Degree in Pastoral Studies. After retirement Charles went back to Midwestern where he taught English at the Bible College. He was a member of New Beginning Baptist Church in Waterford. In his free time he enjoyed reading and studying his Bible.p
