Charles R. Drake went to be with our Lord on April 3, 2021. Born in Battle Creek, Michigan on May 16, 1944. He is survived by his wife of nearly 55 years, Beverly, his daughters: Kimberly (Terry) Parker, Debbie Drake, and Deanna (Todd) Cervenka, and grandchildren: Terry Parker Jr., Charles J. (Victoria) Drake, Racheal Meyers, Christopher Drake-Parker, Jasmine Perna, Christopher Meyers, Ashley Meyers, great-grandchildren: Jonathan Drake, Michael Drake, and Lillea Beniger. All of them were loved with his whole heart. He is survived by his sisters: Rosalie (Jim) Keyes (Battle Creek, MI) and Mary Gould, brothers: Robert Drake (Waterford, MI), Roary Drake (Battle Creek). He was preceeded in death by mother, Francis (McLeod) Willison, step-father: Theron Willison, sister Delores Green, brothers: Lloyd Drake, Walter Drake Jr., Wallace Drake, Dale Drake, and Edward Drake. He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and family, and will be missed deeply. Charles retired from GM Pontiac Motors in 2001 after nearly 35 years. He was a family man, who had a great sense of humor and was a hardworker (which he instilled in his children). He was a man who had a kind heart who was always helping family, friends, and complete strangers. Following his wishes, he will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at their home on May 16, 2021 from noon until whenever (which would have been Charles 77th birthday).
