CHAPIN, CHARLES JUNIOR, age 94, of Auburn Hills, passed away May 27, 2022. He was born on December 20, 1927, in Monette, Arkansas, son to the late Joesiah and Maude Chapin (nee Hill). Loving husband of the late Beatrice; dear father of Annette (the late Curtis) Collison, Diana (Paul) Wale, Dawn Bemman and Tina (Frank) Mostek; proud grandfather of Christian, Becky (Chris), Beth (Matt), Ryan (Krista), Nathan (Angela), Josh (Sarah), Rachel (James) and Andy; great grandfather of 16. Charles worked for Pontiac Motors for many years. In his spare time, he was an avid gardener, enjoyed playing the guitar, teaching Sunday School for many years and spending time with his cat Blackie. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, 1:00 PM at Coats Funeral Home – Clarkston, 8909 Dixie Highway. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until time of service. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Charles' name may be made to the Heritage Baptist Bus Ministry.
