BROADBENT, CAROLYNN ANN, age 75 of Waterford, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021. She was born on May 19, 1945 in Alma, Michigan, daughter of Annabel Peet (nee Daymon) and the late Gerald Peet. Loving wife of Harry "Ron" for 55 wonderful years; dear mother of Rhonda (Eric) Steinhelper and Robin (Brad) Haskins; proud grandmother of Taylor, Dylan, Shelby, Benjamin and Jack; sister of Connie (Stan) Martin, Duffy (Sandy) Peet and Kay (Art) Clark. Carolynn graduated from Ithaca High School, class of 1963, where she became high school sweethearts with Ron; they were later married on May 15, 1965. She went on to work for Bloomfield Hills public schools for many years and retired in 2005. In her spare time she enjoyed long walks in the woods and spending time with her beloved grandkids. A celebration of Carolynn's life will be held at a later date to be determined. Memorial donations may be made to the First Church of the Brethren in Waterford.
