CAROL LEE LAMB (nee Underwood), age 79, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2024, to be with the Lord. She was born on January 20, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan, daughter to the late Ivan and Mildred Underwood (nee Wehrmeister). Loving wife of the late Arthur. Dear mother of Dawn (Bill) Bieser, Mike Mueller, Diane (Greg) Kemp, David Lamb, James Lamb, and Chris Lamb. Proud grandmother of Matthew Bieser, Luke Bieser, Jacob Boggs, Isabella Kelly, Brian Kemp, Laura (Tyler) Hemmingsen, Eliazbeth Kemp (Johnny Stibich), Jayna Lamb, Jacob Lamb, Roxanne Lamb, Angel Lamb; great grandmother of seven. Dear sister of Donna (Kirit) Mody and Joann (Frank) Grepke.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Thomas Underwood, her sister Beverly Pearson, and granddaughter Sarah Lamb.
Most important to her was her family. Carol loved spending time with her grandchildren, including attending every youth baseball game she could with the "3 Grandma's". Carol always offered to help take care of others, whether it be to babysit the grandkids, help with household chores, set the table before dinner and even watch the dogs when called upon… and we know how much Carol loved dogs! In her spare time, she enjoyed being an active member of the choir for Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Lake Orion and St Perpetua's in Waterford. She also was an active choir member for "Tuesday Musicale" of greater Pontiac. Carol worked in the banking industry in auditing and investments for many years. She also enjoyed being involved in the Christian Leadership program at her church. Additional things she loved were traveling, eating out with friends, and playing golf.
Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, 11:00 AM, with a 10:30 instate time at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 2700 Waldon Road, Lake Orion. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Coats Funeral Home-Clarkston, 8909 Dixie Highway. Interment Glen Eden Cemetery in Livonia, Michigan. Memorial donations in Carol's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church.
