SEGNITZ, CAROL LEE, age 84 of Waterford, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023. She was born on April 5, 1938 to the late Frank and Evelyn (Crunk) Moyer. Carol graduated from Walled Lake Central and was the 1956 Homecoming Queen. She was a talented beautician for close to 20 years, having grown an impressive clientele and working out of her own home while raising her children. Carol took pride in keeping her house clean and styles to the nines. She enjoyed gardening and attending her children's sports games. Her family was the most important to her, and she was the strong, matriarchal figure and the glue that held everything together. Carol is survived by her children: Jeff (Kim) Segnitz and Brandon Segnitz; grandchildren: Corey, Alicia (Chad), Kyle (Lauren), Samantha (John); great grandchildren: Mason, Evelyn, and Theodore; siblings: Clint (Honey) Moyer and Kim (John) Kirn. She was preceded in death by husband, Richard Segnitz in 2021. A funeral service will take place at 11am on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at COATS FUNERAL HOME – WATERFORD. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2023 from 4-8pm. Interment at Andersonville Cemetery.
