DAWSON, CAROL LYNN, age 76, of Waterford, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. She was born on October 20, 1945 in Detroit to parents Otto and Ellen Bartz. Carol was a faithful born-again Christian. She enjoyed singing, reading, and her cats. Carol retired from Detroit Edison / Billing & Customer service and in her younger years, she was actively involved in the Lions Youth Exchange Program. More than anything, she loved being a grandma and spending time with her grandchildren. Carol is survived by sons: Jeff Dawson and John (Robin) Dawson; grandchildren: Jillian, Jaymie, Jordyn, Jade, Jasmyn, and Josie; two great grandchildren: Joseph and Naomi; siblings: Jarry (Susan) Bartz and Alyce (Bob) McBride; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held later. Those desiring may make a memorial contribution to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of Carol.
