MORALES CARTAGENA, CARMEN I. of Pontiac, passed away February 7, 2021 at 73 years of age. Loving mother of Gil (Tracey) Santiago, Javier Santiago, Olga (Ricardo) Ruvalcaba, Luis Santiago, Nazario (Jazmin) Cervantes, and the late Fredy Santiago; grandmother of 13; great grandmother of 17; sister to 9 siblings. Born in Puerto Rico, Carmen lived, worked, and raised her family in Pontiac. She enjoyed cooking and worked in several area restaurants throughout her life. She loved country line dancing; camping; and cooking. A loving and caring mother, not only to her family but to everyone she met. She was lovingly known to everyone in the neighborhood as "Mami". Her vivacious personality, and beautiful smile that lit up her face, will be dearly missed by family and friends.
