JENSEN, BRUCE G. of Waterford, passed away July 1, 2020 at 78 years of age. Loving husband of Linda (nee Coleman) for 35 years; dear father of David (Joyce) Gerrie, the late Janet Rubeck, and Kelley (Kirt) Marcks; grandfather of Candice, George (Lindsay), Jacqueline (fiancée Tyler), Jael (Tim), Johnathon, and Brandon; great grandfather 4; great great grandfather of 1; brother of Barbara Drange and the late Everett Jensen, Jr. Bruce was a veteran of the US Navy-Vietnam. He retired from Michigan Bell in 1997 after 31 years of service. Bruce enjoyed life and learning. He maintained a spreadsheet of the books he read; earned his bachelor's and master's degrees later in life; avid golfer; two time 300 game bowler; member of the American Legion, Eagles, and Elks; and world's best "breakfast buddy". Bruce was a faithful member of Christ Lutheran Church, Waterford and his generous smile and zest for life will be dearly missed by his precious family and many friends. Family will receive friends Thursday, July 16, 2020 from 2-8 PM at COATS FUNERALHOME-WATERFORD. **Due to COVID-19 regulations, only ten people are permitted in the visitation room at one time and masks must be worn.
