O'BRIEN, BRENDA L. (nee Weddington) of Clarkston, passed away at her resident May 18th, 2024 at 62 years of age. Born February 26, 1962, she was the loving mother of Dustin (Jessica) Theis, Amy (David) Carpenter, Jeremiah Johnson, and Jesse (Matt) Tackett; grandmother of Caelyn, Benjamin, Ava, Luke and Logan; sister of Ron Weddington and Julia Marks; preceded in death by her parents, Grant and Josephine Weddington. Brenda was a 1980 graduate of Wayne Memorial High School in Wayne, MI. She was a dedicated, hardworking woman who could do anything from bartending to automotive. She enjoyed gardening, sunshine and time around the water, especially Lake Michigan. The most important thing to her was time with her grandchildren. Brenda wore her heart on her sleeve. To know her was to know she had a gypsy soul, heart of gold and a never-ending fighter. She will be missed greatly by all that knew and loved her. A private service will be held.
