Loving husband of Bobbie for 60 years; dear father of Debbie Whitmire, the late Troy Whitmire, and Cheryl (Bob) Beutel; grandfather of Noah and Caitlin Mosher, Zach and Hollie Whitmire, Amanda (Dave) Russ, and Cody Chandler; great grandfather of Braelin, Addilyn, and Lincoln; brother of Jim (Janet) Whitmire, Linda (Howard) Clippard, and Laurel (the late Jack) Barnes; brother in law of Joyce Whitmire. Preceded in death by siblings Louise (Barney) Magnus, Clint, Jr. Whitmire, Bill (Naomi) Whitmire. Bob retired from GM after 36 years of service. He was a member of Faith Church in Waterford. Bob was a true family man. He enjoyed time with his family hunting, fishing, playing cards, motorcycling, snowmobiling, playing bluegrass on his guitar, and pitcher and umpire for neighborhood softball games.
