HUFF, BEVERLY JUNE, (nee Cowan) of Waterford, passed away on August 9, 2023, at 93 years old. Beverly was born in Avon Township, Michigan on December 1, 1929, to the late parents Walter Lavern and Mable James Cowan (nee James); beloved wife of the late Richard J. (Speed) Huff for 64 years until he passed in 2013; cherished mother of Diana (Ken) Snow-Brown, Rhonda (Michael) Kyle, Scott (Carolyn) Huff and Clay Huff; proud grandmother of 7, great grandmother of 14 and great great grandmother of 3; dearest sister of Samuel (Susan) Cowan, Carol (the late James) Arnold, and the late Walter Lee (the late Janice) Cowan. Beverly grew up on a farm in Oxford, until the effects of the Great Depression had her family relocate to Waterford, where she would spend the next 80 years of her life raising her kids and grandkids. In her free time, she loved boxed wine, country music, partying and dancing with the people she loved. She was an avid sewer in her early days and even made her own clothes. Her fiery sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A visitation will be held at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD on Monday, August 14th, 2023, from 11AM - 1PM. Interment Ottawa Park Cemetery in Clarkston, MI.
