of Pontiac, passed away on August 16, 2017 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late James 'Fred' Ware. Loving mother of Rick (Marie) Ware and Gail Ware. Proud adoptive grandmother of Adam Cadd, Timothy Burger, Kelly Lane, Robert Lane, Marissa Evans, Carl Miller, Brennica Freeman-Woodcock, Lee Freeman, Ryan Freeman, and Tracy Vermilyer. Dear sister of Pam (Leonard) Young and the late Zena Wiitala. Betty was a proud member of the Red Hat Ladies and a Sunday School teacher for many years. She was a member of a Senior Ceramics Club and enjoyed crafts including knitting and crocheting slippers and blankets for veterans, calligraphy, and drawing. She was a long time member of the Pontiac Free Methodist Church and a current member of the Liberty Baptist Church of Auburn Hills, Michigan.
