TREWHITT, BETTY J. (née Causbie) of Waterford, passed away July 5, 2023 at 83 years of age. Loving mother of Cynthia (Nathan) Rouse, Curtis (Margie) Crandall, and Cheryl (Mark) Maxwell; grandma of 4; grammy of 7; sister of Marshall (Linda) Causbie, David (Sandra) Causbie and the late Laura (Don) Brundage. Betty was born in Parma, Missouri and was a registered nurse. She worked and retired from GM and was a long time member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Waterford. Betty was devoted to her faith in God, family, grandchildren, friends, and neighbors. She was a blessing to all as she used her nursing skills and talent to help anyone whenever called upon. Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Trinity United Methodist Church, 6440 Maceday Dr., Waterford. Burial Christian Memorial Cemetery, Rochester Hills.  Family will receive friends Tuesday 4-8 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD and Wednesday 10 AM at church.
