SMITH, BERNICE I. of Waterford, went home to be with her Lord, Sunday December 29, 2019 at 68 years of age. Born in Pontiac, Michigan the daughter to the late Ivers and Geraldine Greenleaf. She was married in Waterford on January 18, 1969 to her beloved Darrell A. Smith; she is the loving mother of Vincent (Brianne) Smith, Tracy (Ed) Fath, Kristie (Dave) Smith, Amanda (Michael) McDonald and the late Derek Smith; adoring grandmother of Drew, Trevor, Benjamin, Kolton, Macie, Becca, Reese, John, Owen and Morgan; great grandmother of 6; dear sister of Lloyd "Butch" (Yolanda) Greenleaf, Richard "Dick" (Susan) Greenleaf and the late Ivers (the late Ann) Greenleaf Jr. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. First and for most Bernice loved to shop. She worked for the Waterford Schools in their Daycare Department for 9 years. She loved cooking, the Food Network, HGTV with the Property Brothers being her favorite. She was also willing to help out at her church Pine Knob Missionary Baptist whenever needed. But most of all she loved her grandchildren and all the time she was able to spend with them.
