Bernard Blank, age 89, of Orion, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024. He was born on November 2, 1934, in Gladwin, Michigan, to the late Harold and Marie Blank (nee Merkle). Loving husband to Lois of 70 years; father to Lawayne (Carol) Blank of Vanleer, Tennessee, Dennis (Sheila) Blank of Linden, Michigan, Darla (Dave) McMahon of Ledyard, Connecticut, Kevin (Lynda) Blank of Clarkston, Michigan, Daryl (Tracy) Blank of Cincinnati,  Ohio, Rob (Kat) Blank of Dryden, Michigan, and bonus son Dave Bednarczyk of Waterford, Michigan; Brother to Joyce Cameron of Gladwin, Michigan; grandfather of 19; great grandfather of 35; and great-great grandfather of 5. Bernard spent time as a dairy farmer before becoming a drywall finisher, retiring after a lifelong career. In his younger years, Bernard liked spending time in nature, watching sunrises and sunsets, and hunting with his boys. He enjoyed traveling and taking short weekend road trips. A funeral service will be held at Refinery Church of the Nazarene (2300 S Ortonville Rd) on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 11 a.m. with an instate beginning at 9:30 a.m.
